History of College

1959

According to the decree of the Ministry of Agriculture of USSR Berezhany Technical College of Agriculture was established.

1966

According to the decree of the Ministry of Agriculture of USSR Berezhany Technical College of Agriculture was renamed into Berezhany Technical College of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture.

1992

Joint decision of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Ukraine Berezhany Technical College of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture was reorganized into Berezhany Agrotechnical College - institution of higher education level II accreditation with the right for training junior specialists and bachelors.

1997

Berezhany Agrotechnical College became a member of  National Agrarian University.

2000

On the basis of Berezhany Agrotechnical College according to the decree of rector of National Agrarian Universitywas founded Berezhany Agrotechnical Institute. Pavliskyi Vasyl Mikhailovych, doctor of engineering, professor, Honored Machine Builder of Ukraine, member of Ukrainian Academies of Economic Cybernetics and Tribology was appointed as the rector of the institute.

2001

Agrotechnical Institute as a department of the National Agrarian University was created by the regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on May 6, number 434. This year, the accreditation of specialties and institute was conducted by the third level accreditation and appropriate certificates were given.

2006

Institute was reorganized into separated subdivision of NAU «Berezhany Agrotechnical Institute»

2008

The institute became separated subdivision of National university of life and environmental sciences of Ukraine (regulation of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 945 dated 30.10.2008).

2008

The department of training junior specialists started its activity at the institute.

2014

According to the decree of rector of National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine on the basis of Berezhany Agrotechnical Institute was established Separated subdivision of National university of life and environmental sciences of Ukraine "Berezhany Agrotechnical College", Svitlana Ihorivna Pylypyshyn, candidate of philological sciences, Associate Professor was appointed as  College Director.

College has three departments, where more than 700 students including distance education study. 8 subject committees which are the central parts of  educational, methodological and pedagogical work operates.
